HackDay Konecta 2022 in Colombia, the technology day for software enthusiasts

The day for software lovers is part of Konecta's commitment to technology and the promotion of talent.

Fourth HackDay by Konecta in Colombia

Last October 29th was held the fourth edition of HackDay by Konecta, an event that aims to connect the BPO and Contact Center sector with new generations of professionals and promote IT talent in Colombia.

This edition was attended by beneficiaries of the ICT Mission program of the Ministry of Telecommunications, an institution that seeks to promote the learning of 4.0 technologies through universities.

It also had a special guest: the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Antioquia and its group Tripulantes MinTIC.

The list of attendees ranged from students to professionals and technicians in software development, programming, systems engineering, electronic engineering and other areas of the capital of Antioquia.

The HackDay is part of the activities carried out by Konecta Software Factory, the software development factory based in Medellin, through which they achieve a double objective:

• Creation, design and implementation of software solutions for clients.
• Promote IT talent in Colombia.

Hack Challenge: Cloud services implementation

In this HackDay, the challenge focused on the implementation of cloud services. The aim was to develop knowledge in areas including Cloud architecture, cybersecurity, omnichannel and Data Real Time.

The winners of the HackDay were the members of Desarrollo Soft Solution who managed to differentiate themselves from the rest of the participants by designing a tool that met the following attributes:

• Security in terms of data collection and management.  
• Efficient use of Cloud architectures.
• Real Time data display.
• Extra functions: management of predictive alerts.
